A visit with Scott's cousins.
On the left page, I chose a tannish paper for the background, and a mint-colored paper for the border at the right-hand side. I cut the border piece with a decorative scissors. I stamped the title at the top with my Stampin' Up contemporary alphabet set in Close to Cocoa, and colored in the outline with a marker same green as the paper (can't remember what the color is called). Then I just rounded the corners of the pictures, and the journaling is in black pen. I felt bad calling this page "cousins" as Scott's third cousin isn't even in any of the pictures. But he never wants to play with the other kids, so, his loss I guess.
On the right page, I realized I had enough more "cousins" pictures to turn this into a two-page spread. So I duplicated the background and border. I got the pictures on there, and realized the whole thing was missing something. So I looked around for some embellishments to go with the pictures. The kids were doing a variety of activities, so no one activity embellishment seemed to fit. Finally I found this SU stamp set: Kids At Play. Perfect! There's even two boys and two girls, so Scott's cousin JP is on the page by default. I swear I don't have a single picture of that kid :P
