Pictures from May 2004.
On the right, the graphic in the upper left is preprinted on the CM boy pages. Since the pictures are from May I chose some springy colors, and since there was a butterfly on the page already I added some butterfly stickers. I cut some of the mats with decorative scissors. The flower/vine in the bottom right corner is a die cut. And the letters for "MAY" are punched out of the same yellow paper I used for the photo mats and glued on to the border, for which I used the same blue paper and decorative scissors. There was a gal at the crop that had these letter punches and she let me borrow them. I think it really makes the word pop on the dark border.
On the left, I stamped the title on patterned paper using two different alphabet stamp sets and my new Stampin' Up Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the letters. I cut the decorative edge on the title and the border using a Fiskars template and cutter. For the journal box I used a Journaling Genie template to trace the wavy lines with a pencil, then I wrote on the paper and erased the lines. The pail and shovel are stickers.
